Professor John Barry, author of “THE GREAT INFLUENZA: The Story of the Deadliest Pandemic in History,” joined us from New Orleans to outline the importance of innovation, honesty, and trust in navigating a pandemic. After publishing his watershed book, John helped develop an earlier playbook for mitigating pandemics, and shared his insights on the pandemic a century ago, and how Covid-19 might reshape society when we reach the other side.
