What if you could get inside the mind of a Stroke Program Consultant who helps hospitals and ems get ready for certification? You'd probably want to know what things she commonly sees hospitals doing wrong. What tricks does she have for making sure your facility is ready?
Shane Elmore, Pulsara's Vice President for Clinical Innovation and Development, recently sat down for an interview with Debbie Roper, RN, MSN, President and Founder of Strokes R Us. Debbie is a consultant who travels arouns and advises hospitals that are going through the stroke certification process.
Debbie created the concept of a "MOCK STROKE SURVEY" which includes a visit to the client facility 60 days prior to the real survey to conduct a trial run of sorts. This allows the facility to understand what corrective actions (RFIs) they need to take to pass the real thing.
Take a listen to this very special episode of It's About Time: A Pulsara Podcast to hear the exclusive interview with Debbie Roper.
