In Fitness and in life not every day is a good day. Some days you just feel – well – like crap. And those are the days when copious amounts of junk food start calling your name!

Today on the Podcast I talk about my bad day and then discuss how you can avoid destroying your fitness progress because of lack of motivation. I also dig into 10 fitness myths that just keep recurring. These myths are persistent but they can’t hold up to science and common sense!

Some of the myths discussed today are spot reduction, creatine rage (not joking), eating carbs at night, and using high reps to get leaner. Then I dig into how you can push through your bad days without destroying your fitness goals. Not many people reveal their bad days to the public – they’d rather post perfect status updates and pictures on Facebook – but today I do just that.

I keep it real on a day when I feel like a steaming bag of poo. After all pushing through on the tough days is what separates the successful from the unsuccessful. Enjoy!

More specifically in this episode you’ll find out:

  • What Aspartame is and if you should fear it.

  • Why high reps might not be the best bet for getting leaner.

  • Spot reduction – does it exist?

  • How to learn to love the nutritious foods you hate.

  • Why working abs is not the best way to get abs.

  • How you can deal with every day positively – even the bad ones.

  • How I told stuffed crust pizza to kiss my…

  • Why eating carbs at night isn’t such a big deal after all.

  • And much more.
