The reason you launch them higher, is not because of the performance, generally, the performance degrades, because the physics is such that the further we away from the Earth, that you know, the lower the signal, the less resolution your cameras have all that stuff.

7:00 titanium valves and things like really dense stuff sometimes make it to the surface, stainless steel tanks

7:12 when you get a satellite operator license through US government, if your commercial, they go through debris analysis of your of your satellite to make sure that stuff won't survive, you know, it's like circuit boards, and that there's this thing called the ballistic coefficient. So they just kind of float like paper, because they've got a very high ballistic coefficient, but, you know, rocks and chunks of metals tend to survive.
