Pastor Steven's heart for ministry is grounded in the overwhelming grace and love received from God, his family, and friends in 1999 while overcoming drug addiction and life on the streets. Steven is the Co-Founder of Project Kinship, an organization dedicated to serving the formerly incarcerated and overlooked populations in Orange County to successfully re-integrate back into the community. His past experiences include human rights work in the field of forensic social work where he led multi-disciplinary teams to identify early childhood traumas on high-profile death penalty cases. He has worked in multiple capacities in management at the Department of Education and has held teaching appointments with the University of Southern California. Pastor Steven has been in active service for the Kingdom of God for more than 20 years and was ordained in 2014. He has planted several churches, both as the lead pastor and as co-pastor. He has a passionate heart for the lost and hurting and he is a gifted communicator, leader, and counselor.
