| 1) Back to Grant. A State Senator of Arkansas, Stephanie Flowers, went viral after she walked out during a heated judiciary committee debate to smoke a cigarette. The debate was about amending the state's 'Stand Your Ground' law, which ultimately did not pass the committee. The Senator played victim during the debate, and argued that she was in fear for her life and the lives of black boys and black men because of the Stand Your Ground law. Stephanie Flowers explained that the amendment is important to black people. She said they have killings regularly in her part of Arkansas. She then told her white colleagues that they don't worry about their children like she does. Republican Senator Alan Clark then asked her to stop acting out, she refused, and asked him if he is going to shoot her. Flowers then said she will not be silenced. The judiciary committee of Arkansas had another hearing 2 weeks afters the incident and Flowers did not apologize for her outbursts, and claimed that she was a Christian woman who only God could judge. | 2) Paloma is a first time caller out of Chicago, Illinois who had a question about why mother nature created gay people. Luke is a first time caller from Amsterdam who wanted to answer the Biblical Question, and tell Jesse about a dream he had with Obama in it.
