It's our SummerSlam recap super show-"The Main Event" is back and we have SOOO much to discuss after an unbelievable four days for the WWE in Brooklyn. In Segment 1, we first discuss who lost our bet, which actually leads to an IMMEDIATE attempt at paying the bet off which would, oddly, drag on throughout the show. Then we break down all of the RAW fallout from SummerSlam weekend. One dumb member of the cast thinks The Shield defending Roman Reigns was somehow a HEEL move. But beside that, we have to break down where they go from here with that entire crew. Plus-is there a next credible opponent for Ronda Rousey? And Baron Corbin will be awesome as interim General Manager, right? In Segment 2 (1:01:25), the guys discuss the fallout from SummerSlam weekend for Smackdown. AJ & Joe are telling amazing stories, WWE NAILED how Miz/Bryan should have gone, what do they do now with Luke Harper since Rowan is hurt, why was Big E left out of The New Day's title win, should Becky or Charlotte be the heel moving forward, etc. In Segment 3 (1:34:50), the guys are honored to be joined by their 23rd WWE Hall of Famer, as The Godfather checks in before his appearance with the Potomac Nationals this weekend. How did he ever become The Godfather? Could The Godfather even work in 2018? And will he invite us aboard the train? After that, the guys broke down the fallout from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. Cole/Riccochet was perfect...christ, the whole card was perfect, obviously. AJ was in the building for the show and offers some first hand insight about Velveteen Dream's perfect pants and much more. After that, we discussed a couple other topics from the week including what Chris Jericho wanted to do at SummerSlam. Then we shared a really fun clip regarding our pal Mojo Rawley from 10 years ago this week and we wrapped the show by getting a final payoff to our bet.
