Alex Lamb, Parliamentary Advocacy Coordinator for Care Australia speaks with Matt McDonell about engaging with politicians for women’s health and rights.
Alex works to engage and inform politicians throughout the Asia-Pacific region of issues surrounding sexual and reproductive health and rights. Care International also has many projects working to better empower women to take control of their own health and sexual activities.
She is part of the Parliamentary Group on Population and Development, with more than 100 Australian parliamentarians at both federal and state levels, which seeks to lead change across the region.
