The series premiered on HBO Max on April 7, 2022 and it's the first American-produced series filmed entirely in Japan. Jojo finished watching the documentary series 'The Way Down: God, Greed, and The Cult of Gwen Shamblin.' Graham watched a HBO standup comedy special titled Rothaniel, performed by comedian Jerrod Carmichael in which he comes out as gay to his audience. Graham & Jocelyn, then, moved on the discussing the series Tokyo Vice and expanded on the controversies surrounding the recent scrutiny placed on the veracity of the book the show is based on.
