Let Them Eat Dirt is a brilliant new book that is being described by Dr. Sears as a must read for parents. Brett Finlay coauthor of the book is a professor of microbiology at the University of British Columbia and a world leader in how bacterial infections work. He has been studying microbes for over 30 years and he joins me on the show this week to talk about his important research in the role of the microbiome. He will share detailed insight with us into the crucial role it plays in our kid’s development, immune development and how imbalances lead to chronic health issues. We will learn how living in an over sanitized world is wreaking havoc on our children’s health and the food and lifestyle shifts that can make a big difference in their healthy future.
