This week we have a fantastic episode for you. John Tannock walked the Kokoda Track at 68yo but that’s only a small part of the story. His father was wounded in the battle of Oivi/Gorari. A pivotal battle which saw 133 Australians killed in action and 225 wounded. The battle that broke the Japanese forces and sent them back to the beach heads where they were eventually defeated. John spent a large chunk of time and his own money to have a monument built to his Dad and his Dad’s mates.
