God has chosen those whom He would for salvation and He has divinely predestined them to do good works. Men will receive rewards for those good works but not for works they should have done but did not. Men will also be held accountable although not for punishment's sake as the punishment for sin was taken by Christ at the cross.

Though God has predestined the good works, because of His sovereignty, He can and does hold men responsible for their good works. Divine sovereignty in no way negates human responsibility. Human responsibility exists inside of the context of divine sovereignty.
