Welcome back to Ladies Kar Care Talk Show! If you’ve ever had to fix anything on your car you may be accustomed to the dread that sits in your chest, as you grow older it gets a little bit easier each time, and then you have to teach your kids. Cue a whole new kind of stress!

In today’s episode, we have the honor of talking with Kimberly Remedies, an entrepreneur, a lover of teaching, and a mom of six! With five of her kids at home and running a 6 figure e-commerce business, you could say that Kimberly has her hands full. Add onto that her 10-year-old Chrysler minivan and she has no time for unexpected breakdowns and fixes. She talks about a time when a mechanic almost completely ruined her van and how she spent more money and time than she originally wanted to. As well as a couple of moments where she took repairs into her own hands and was empowered on keeping her car maintained and ready to roll!

Listen in as Kimberly talks about her own journey with car maintenance and the moment it hit her how important it is for her to know exactly how to take care of her car. With three teenagers ready to hit the road she realized it was time to learn all that she could so she could pass the knowledge to her own kids. You’ll learn some great tips on how you can start engaging your kids with driving even if they’re young, how she was able to help one of her daughter’s gain the confidence to drive more often, and how having a monthly checklist has changed her view of car maintenance from unmanageable to easy!

Plus you won’t want to miss this week’s car quick tip as I talk about the things you need in case of an emergency breakdown. Knowing what to do next is the biggest hurdle for most but I’ll lay out easy steps and tricks that will have you keeping your cool!
