The title of this show comes from host Emily Smith’s childhood love of the roller skating rink and the special time where the DJ would come over the loudspeaker and say “gentleman clear the floor, it’s time for ladies skate only.” Ladies Skate is a platform for incredible women in music. And when we say women, we mean ALL women, as well as non-binary artists that feel comfortable being included in this podcast. You’ll hear singer-songwriters, instrumentalists, alt-country, pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B, Electronic and much more. Expect new releases, artist news, show reviews and good tunes.
