There are times when we all feel discouraged by people, by circumstances, and by news that can rock our world. And discouragement can sap our energy, take away our focus, and keep us from doing the very best in all we do. Yet, like the lyrics to a great song in a special moment, or the perfect words of a good friend, or some really good news from a surprise source, God can meet us right where we are to bring the right encouragement we need at just the right time to replace our discouragement with His encouragement. We’ll look at some the most common forms of encouragement we need from God in various passages in the Bible so that we can learn how to receive it.
