The Bundesliga has only just returned, but is it now over? Bayern's 1-0 win at Dortmund opens a seven-point gap at the top of the table that could see Europe's football fans turn their attention elsewhere. It's just as well the Premier League is edging closer to match action. The players are back in training and the big talking point, naturally, is their lockdown trims. Skinheads, bouffants, afros and receding hairlines, we discuss the good, the bad and the ugly. Hair chat makes for a welcome lighter note given the oblivion facing clubs further down the English football pyramid. According to Huddersfield's owner, up to 60 clubs could go bust in the coming months. What on earth can be done to reshape their financial futures? Perhaps everyone should try suing computer games like Manchester United? The Red Devils have taken Football Manager to court over a licensing issue; we try and figure out why.
In the second half, we turn our attention to the NBA's plan to play the rest of the season at Disney World, Florida. It sounds like a Mickey Mouse idea, but weirdly, it might just work. We stay Stateside where Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods renewed their rivalry this week. Partnering with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning respectively, they raised over $20 million with a charity match showdown. Nice work, chaps. Finally, we check in on Formula E and the bizarre events that led to Daniel Abt getting the sack. Enjoy the show.
