Over the years, plyometric and HIIT style workouts have taken over while isometric movements have become less popular. Isometrics have great benefits from getting past sticking points, to better muscle recruitment, and even some hypertrophy benefits. I would advise adding yielding isometrics to each one of your lifts, and if you’re looking to get stronger I would advise adding overcoming isometrics to your routine.
