Welcome to the first episode of Let Them Eat Cheesecake: A Golden Girls Podcast. In this episode, you will hear Beth, Tawny, Danny, and Corey talk about their history with The Golden Girls, and explain why this podcast exists.
This first episode includes commentary on the pilot episode of The Golden Girls, which is entitled, "The Engagement." Take a trip back to September 14th, 1985 with us. It was a time when Dorothy kicked punk rockers out of class and told them they were ugly. Miami was swimming with cocaine and Cubans. New York was a place to honeymoon and hope that you didn't die.
