In this episode, I interview Greg Economou, the Chief Commercial Officer & Head of Sports of Ticketmaster where Greg is in charge of all B2B marketing, product marketing and integration, and all premium services across all business segments of the company, while also leading and managing the entire sports segment for the company. Prior to Greg's position at Ticketmaster he was Chief Revenue Officer at Dick Clark Productions where he maximized revenue and Partnerships for media properties including the American Music Awards & Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve, The Golden Globes and many others. Greg has also had senior level positions at Madison Square Garden (where yours truly worked for him :)), and served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for the Charlotte Bobcats, Senior Vice President of Marketing Communications for the NBA, has owned his own Marketing Agencies and so much more! As if Greg's highly accomplished career is not enough, he is also raising three boys named RIP, Luke, and AJ who are all outstanding young role models for their peer group and recently got engaged to a gem of a woman named Juliette de Campos. Needless to say Greg is stretched to the max and always on the go, traveling for business, managing hundreds of employees, handling family matters and so much more! With this said, it is inspiring to see how Greg balances it all and takes care of himself physically, mentally, and spiritually. He is also focused on creating new paradigms for leadership in for all organizations not just Sports & Entertainment and discusses how the practice of writing has been critical in ensuring Greg keeps his health a priority.
