Cheryl experienced sexual abuse from the age of eight resulting in a vicious cycle of emotional, physical and mental abuse. Suicide seemed to be her only option but her three attempts were unsuccessful. She appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show and discussed the connection of sexual and drug abuse. Fredric Almond experienced something that no teenager should ever have to endure. At the age of eleven he had to face a horrific event that left him on the floor bleeding from being stabbed approximately thirty-nine times. The situation changed his entire life as a young boy. With courage, perseverance, and willingness, he overcame the scar.
