Amy Rind - Today I sit down with Amy Rind, a Mindful Nutrition Consultant who helps women reclaim their life from the health burdens of stress, aging and hormonal imbalance. Through education and counseling, Amy helps women overcome the fear, confusion and anxiety that can stand in the way of recovering health through a nutrient-dense, traditional whole foods diet. Amy uses a small-changes approach that empowers her clients to create a lasting impact on their physical and mental health and well-being. Her approach combines whole foods ancestral nutrition principles with mindful living strategies to help women truly nourish their body, mind and spirit. Amy focuses on women struggling with hormone, digestive and emotional imbalances including thyroid and adrenal dysfunction, PCOS, menopause, digestive issues such as IBS and SIBO as well as anxiety, stress and depression. Amy partners with her clients to provide evidence-based knowledge with practical, achievable strategies and support through delicious meal plans and recipes to help her clients move toward optimal health. Amy is a certified nutrition consultant through Bauman College and a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP). She has completed Mindful-Based Eating Awareness Training with MB-EAT founder Jean Kristeller and women’s health coursework with Dr. Aviva Room and the Functional Nutrition Alliance. Today Amy and I talk about her journey and what inspired her to help other women, and she's share inspirational tips.
