Did you know that the inspiration for Tesla Motors roots in the conversion of racing cars into EVs? An electric motor is more powerful than a gasoline motor, which is what made EVs attractive for drag racing. We introduce you to the history of EV conversion and continue talking about the difficulties and costs of EV conversion next week.
