Erin Scott didn't grow up with dogs. In fact, the majority of her childhood and teenage experiences with dogs were not that great....so much so that she didn't even consider adopting a dog until she met her husband-to-be, Tim.
Tim loved dogs and wanted their family to include a four-legged kid. Even though Erin said yes, she had no idea the roller coaster ride her heart was about to take!
As it turned out, pawrenting was a lot harder - and also a lot more rewarding - than Erin ever expected it to be. Today, she hosts two dog-related podcasts, curates an online canine health journal tool and volunteers intensively with a local dog rescue. And her experiences with animal communication over the past 10 years have changed her interspecies family's lives forever for the better.
How did this reluctant dog mom overcome her reservations and become a force to be reckoned with in dog rescue and the pawrenting community? This week's episode of Let's Talk to Animals gives you the inside scoop.
