Wir ziehen literarische Auseinandersetzungen von Ray Bradbury und Carl Ignaz Geiger heran - letztere aus dem Jahr 1790! - und werfen über Stephan Petraneks Buch HOW WE'LL LIVE ON MARS auch einen Blick auf die tatsächlichen Besiedelungs- und Terraforming-Pläne. Sogar ein Computerspiel ist dabei: MARTIAN DREAMS, ein Ableger der ULTIMA-Reihe.
