When he came near, Jesus asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?” “Lord, I want to see,” he replied. 42 Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.” 43 Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God. ルカ18:35-43（ALIVE） 35イエスと一味がエリコ町付近に着いた時の話―― 【ヨルダン川の谷間に在る。神殿の都みやこエルサレムまでは徒歩で約８時間ほど。東に約24㎞ほどの場所に位置する】 道端には、座りこんだ盲人が通りがかりの人に物乞いものごいをしていた。 36（ん？なんの騒ぎだ？） あわただしく大勢の人が向かってくる音がする・・・それに、あたりの様子もおかしい。 「そこの人や！こりゃあいってぇ何の騒ぎで？」 盲目の物乞いは周りにいた野次馬やじうまに尋ねた。 37「ナザレ村のイエスがもうすぐでここを通るんだよ！！！」 38（にゃ、なんと！！！） 「イエスさまぁー！ダビデの子よー！！どうぞお助けを！！！」 盲人は興奮して叫んだ！ 39「おい、静かにせんか！」 「やかましいぞ！」 列を先導していた人が黙らせようとした。 「んダ〰ビデの子や〰〰！！ど〰か私をお助けを〰〰！！！」 彼は黙るどころか、負けずと前より大きな声で叫ぶではないか！ 40ピタッ・・・イエスは、その場に立ち止まった。 「あの方を連れて来てくれ」 「おう！」―― 盲人が近くまで連れてこられた。 41「俺に何をしてほしい？」 「イエス様、俺はもう一度・・・もう一度、見えるようになりた゛い゛ッ！！」 42「もう見えるぞ！よく信じた、そのおかげで治ったんだ！」 43――ハッ！ 盲人は目をパチクリさせた。 「見ーえーるぅー！！！」 彼は神に感謝しながらイエスについていった。また、それを見たすべての人が神を讃えたのであった。 1.
