Being the best you can be in terms of physical health Should be a priority no matter what, but it's especially important if you're caring for an older German Shepherd.
It's no secret that German Shepherds are large dogs. And it's also no secret that as they age, many succumb to mobility issues, whether it be Degenerative Myelopathy, hip dysplasia, or arthritis.
When our older German Shepherds are strapped with mobility issues, they require extra hands-on assistance from us, And I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, sometimes it's a challenge.
So if you are in a situation where you are caring for an older German shepherd with or without mobility issues the issues, this Podcast is for you.
In this Podcast episode, I talk about keeping up with your physical health so that you can help your aging German Shepherd stay comfortable for as long as possible without compromising too much of yourself. If you have an older German Shepherd with Degenerative Myelopathy, we have a support group that is free to join.
