Daniël heeft altijd gedacht dat er een ingewikkeld proces in de studio voor nodig was geweest om de sound van Supertramp te construeren. Totdat hij zanger Roger Hudson met diens band zag optreden op een Drents popfestival. Wat bleek: niks ingewikkelds aan, en het klonk precies als Supertramp.
