Can’t we all just get along? Communication is the key, so perhaps us talking about some of the bickering in the world of music will help solve the problems …

We begin by discussing EXCLUSIVE barbershop gossip about two Canadian bands vying for a Juno. One act is slinging accusations at the other, claiming they are copying an already popular song. However, not only are bands beefing, it seems two musical festivals, Bestival and Afrofest, aren’t being treated equally by the city of Toronto. Good news: since recording this episode, the festival discrepancies have been solved. Finally, we discuss two youngsters dueling it out in New York. It’s an unfair fight and we’re okay with it.

Although we are Low Lifes, we do like things to end well so we finish the episode showcasing the extraordinary improvisational work of Big K.R.I.T. and exciting new work by A$AP Ferg. Hit play below to hear what we are on about.
