It's all to common these days that we see amazing artists succumb to darker aspects of their creative souls. Often it seems to come out of left field, the facade or public persona not reflective of the truth behind closed doors. Kim Kicks is an inspiring women (& drummer) based in LA. She forms half of the rock duo Satellite Sky with her brother Peter. Her talent, hard work, positivity and giving nature has influenced many. In this episode Kim courageously begins sharing her own personal struggles in the hope of encouraging others to reach out. Only by talking openly about depression can we attempt to understand it, bring light to it and help those in need who may be suffering silently.
