SBS started as a radio service in 1975 broadcasting in a handful of languages. Today it broadcasts in more than 60 languages and has recently launched a new 24-hour multilingual news channel and a service to help migrants learn English. JNI's Andrew Griffits spoke with SBS' Director of Audio and Language Content, David Hua, to find out more about the new projects and how the public broadcaster's role has changed over the decades.
