Spørsmålet er viktig og har med moralens grunnlag å gjøre. Kan vi ha moral uten religion? Hva er egentlig moral? Hva er forskjellen på god og dårlig moral? Kan moral læres eller er det medfødt? Det blir samtale om disse spørsmålene mellom filosof Henrik Syse, Institutt for fredsforskning (PRIO), og professor emeritus Torbjørn Tännsjö, Stockholms universitet. Både Syse og Tännsjö er erfarne moralfilosofer og aktive samfunnsdebattanter, og samtalen ledes av filosof Espen Gamlund.
