Dr. James Cornelius is the curator of the Abraham Lincoln collection at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Illinois. When I wanted to gain permission to display Lincoln's signature, he was the expert who knew how do gain the rights. What started out as some generous advice led to him telling me stories about Lincoln as a leader and visionary fifty years ahead of his time. I knew that I wanted to interview him to learn more.
