Deserted beaches due to the COVID-19 pandemic have been a boon for olive ridley sea turtles during this year's mass nesting season on the Odisha coast of northeastern India. But climate change and other factors continue to threaten their survival. At the world's largest olive ridley rookery, fishing communities have been working to protect the species.
