Detroit Tigers used a Bullpen Day approach, as the Tigers Bullpen delivered an exceptional performance, holding the Guardians to just four hits and no runs. Tyler Holton started the game with a strong outing, pitching two scoreless innings. The relievers who followed, including Easton Lucas and Andrew Chafin, continued the shutout effort, accumulating a total of 10 strikeouts without issuing a single walk. Offensively, Javier Báez provided all the firepower the Tigers needed, crushing a three-run homer in the second inning that ultimately sealed the win. Bligh Madris also made significant contributions, going 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored. With this win, the Detroit Tigers improve their road record to 26-29, inching closer to the .500 mark for the season.
