Introduction to "Coronavirus (COVID-19) - What is happening around the world? Update Episode"
In this episode of the LTnT - Lifestyle, Travel & Technology podcast, the hosts Alexander, Garry and Nikki want to get everyone up to date with what is happening around the World during the quarantine period.
The hosts gather information from legitimate sources, since they understand in times like these the only information you should listen to are ones from organisations spearheading the fight to combat the pandemic and other organisations dedicated to helping the same cause, and present what they found. The hosts go over some statistics from the John Hopkins University which countries are currently most affected, which ones are seeing small to major improvements or are simply regressing. They also talk about some of the World Leaders that have been tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and also cover the situation in the United States of America.
There is also a way for you to help during this time of the quarantine period:

    • is a distributed computing project for simulating protein dynamics, including the process of protein folding and the movements of proteins implicated in a variety of diseases. It brings together citizen scientists who volunteer to run simulations of protein dynamics on their personal computers. Insights from this data are helping scientists to better understand biology, and providing new opportunities for developing therapeutics.
