This week we discuss the Netflix original Imperial Dreams (2014) starring John Boyega as a ex-convict recently released from prison and trying to escape the pit falls of his old life. Then we have the Cold War thriller Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2011) a complex but engrossing thriller with a stellar cast and an endlessly unfolding plot. Next we have our longest running segment called Hidden Gems where we discuss two films we think haven’t been seen enough. Since it has some parallels to one of this week’s films Joe would like you to check out Fruitvale Station (2013) and Nick ties in the film Frankie and Johnny (1991) through one of the actors in Imperial Dreams.
