This week on Macklin's Take we plunge into another deep dive into a big fight, journeying back half a century to Madison Square Garden and the Fight of the Century between Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali.
It was a boxing occasion like no other an ringside that night, reporting on the fight for the British press, was a young Alan Hubbard so me and Matt were absolutely delighted when Alan, now a true Don of the boxing print media, agreed to join us on the podcast and give us his memories of March 8th, 1971, when the eyes of the world were firmly fixed on that squared circle just feet way from him.
Macklin's Take is now also on YouTube so if you could find your way over there and click subscribe, that would be great.
