A serious issue that is affecting millions in our country and community is the opioid crisis. Hosts, Cynthia Heathcoe & Nicole Rymer are fortunate to talk to Palm Beach State Attorney, Dave Aronberg this week about the epidemic. Dave Aronberg has been the force behind the legislation on how we can start to change the things that led to the crisis. Testifying to congress about the issue for more assistance and to bring more awareness to a bigger issue within the opioid epidemic. Someone who you may have seen on 60 minutes and Vice networks Dope Sick nation recently brining awareness to the issues and breaking down the reality behind issue to change perceptions. We also talked about another issue close to his heart and something he is working on as well, human trafficking and so much more. We get very serious this week in hopes we can not just educate you on the issues, but save a life as well. There are places you can go for help, and with new legislation that is constructed to turn this epidemic around. We thank Dave Aronberg for dedicating his career to this issue.
