Scott Stratten is one of the funniest guys I know. In fact, he had a video you might have seen that went viral a few months back that jokes on millennials in the workforce. But, Scott isn't a comedian, he is the founder of the company UnMarketing and one of the most sought after marketers in the world. He's written five books and is currently writing a sixth, entitled UnBranding. Along with the books, Scott co-hosts the UnPodcast with his wife and business partner Alison and spends a majority of his working hours giving and practicing keynote talks for huge conferences and organizations. In this conversation we discuss:
  • The biggest challenge for businesses starting out
  • Why it might actually be beneficial to be more expensive than your competition
  • How great companies get marketing and branding right
  • The best ways to connect with customers
