In today’s episode of the Master Your Life podcast, I shared the stories of 2 powerful women who have inspired me and impacted me to think about my life, and what happens in my life, through a different lens. My hope is that by. hearing their stories, you will also choose to see your life and all its challenges through a different lens.

The title of this episode is so powerful, because if you are open and flexible in your thinking vs having a fixed or rigid mindset, you literally can change the lens through which you see and experience life. Perspective is a very powerful force that creates our reality and the quality of our lives. If we see the glass half full vs half empty, then our experience is the opposite of someone who sees the glass half empty, resulting in different lifestyles, different approaches to experiences and opportunities, and overall impacts the quality of our lives.

Is it positive and solution-oriented, or is your perspective falling into the category of why me, it’s not fair, how can this have happened to me?

It’s important to develop your self-awareness to identify bad habits that really don’t serve you and propel your life forward, and to consciously decide to change your perspective and think positively, see the best happening for you not the worst, always think in abundance that things will be bigger and better than they have been in the past. Remembering that your sub-conscious mind doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what’s not real, and your thoughts shape your destiny.

So whatever you are dealing with right now, know that there is always at least 2 options available to you. One sees new opportunities, positive outcomes, positive change, and the other sees a lack of justice, has a victim-mentality, is not focused on solutions, just the problem, and there is little to no change as the thoughts, feelings and actions created through a scarcity perspective are not designed to give you what you really want.
