Text: Acts 21:1-14

Description: I will talk about following Jesus is a dangerous thing to do. In that passage in Acts, Paul is warned of the danger of going to Jerusalem. But he goes anyway, saying “the Lord’s will be done.” Being in the Lord’s will doesn’t mean we are safe. In fact, it might take us into danger, as it did for Paul.

I will look at a few examples of people who followed God’s will into danger and the fruit that came from it. In that will be an encouragement to us to follow Jesus, even when it might not be the “safest” option. And that safety might not be in terms of dangerous living conditions, but feeling safe to share with our friends and family, going to the DTES to help out etc.
