Bishop William Kenney has just returned from Iraq where he visited over ten refugee camps housing those who have fled from the advance of Daesh (ISIL) and the bloody conflict in Syria. Predominantly for Christians, with some refugees of other minority faiths, the camps are serving well but are, unsurprisingly, overcrowded.

Bishop William Kenney is a Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham and visited Iraq at the invitation of Aid to the Church in Need from 13 - 17 May 2015.
