Here's the reality - one in five women is or has been in a financially abusive relationship.

Unfortunately many women don't talk about it or don't even realize they are being financially abused.

In this episode I'm talking about three signs that you might be in a financially abusive relationship.

It's critical that every woman be financially independent, meaning they have control over their money and don't rely on anyone else to manage it. You must control your future.

Here are a few things you must have:

  • User names and passwords for all bank accounts, credit cards, mortgage, bills and investment accounts
  • The balance and interest rates on all credit cards
  • Details on all insurance policies, life, home, auto, medical. What are the deductibles, what are the pay-outs?
  • The check-book balance on a daily basis
  • Your credit score (you should be signed up with a service where you can check it and get alerts)

If you're ready to end the overwhelm and stress of your finances and feel confident and in control of your money, you owe it to yourself to sign up for my new course Confidence = Cash: How to be Stress Free, Debt Free, and Financially Independent. The course begins 2/6. Registration is open now and closes on Friday 2/3/23. Get more information and register here.
