Cobb Chamber of Commerce Hosts KSU and Puckett EMS

Puckett EMS was opened in 1984 as a medical transport (both emergent and non-emergent)
company in Powder Springs Georgia. Now with more than 60 ambulance and support vehicles
and over 340 employees, Puckett EMS has grown to provide 911 ground transportation in 6
counties in Georgia and Tennessee.

Puckett EMS Training Academy offers a fully accredited Advanced EMT Class as well as other
community medical trainings. Puckett EMS provides a comprehensive Special Event Medicine Coverage that provides medical coverage for events ranging from high school and college athletics to mobile extreme sporting
events such as Iron Man, Mud Runs and Triathlons.

We built Puckett EMS with one thing in mind – providing the highest quality, reliable ambulance
services to the communities we serve. We accomplish this through rigorous hiring and selection
practices, continuous quality improvement, followed by a strong belief that to be the best you must
train to be the best.

Puckett EMS has been recognized twice within the past five years as the State of Georgia’s Emergency Medical Service of the Year. In addition, Puckett EMS has also been recognized as the Metro Atlanta EMS Agency of the Year three times within the past 6 years. Puckett EMS has been named one of the top 25 small businesses in Cobb County for several years. In 2013, Puckett EMS was honored as the Small Business of the Year by the Atlanta Journal and
Constitution.

The Kennesaw State University Sports and Entertainment Park spans across an impressive 88 acres and
serves both Kennesaw State students and members of the surrounding community as a state of the art recreation facility. Kennesaw State soccer, lacrosse and football as well as the Atlanta Blaze professional men’s lacrosse team are all housed in Fifth Third Bank Stadium which is the main venue in the sports park. The park is also the home of the student-run company Night Owl Productions which grants KSU students hands-on professional experience in the event operations world.
