We walk you through the release schedule for all of the March & April releases. We include snapshots of the casts & crews, chronicle any early reviews & buzz, and react to the trailers for all the films we’re excited to see. March brings about another game changer for romcoms, Love Simon, while also attempting to reboot the Tomb Raider franchise. There was a Wes Anderson tangent as we gush over the NY auteur’s filmography to date before we hype up Isle of Dogs. Unsane intrigues Mike No 1’s taste profile as we welcome the big screen return of Steven Soderberg. Then we temper the rise in expectations for Ready Player One while raising them for SXSW favorite, Gemini. April is a loaded month. A Quiet Place is getting hyped, and us horror movie nerds get excited. We brace for a lousy historical drama in Chappaquiddick, and Also Mike may or may not tick off the Illuminati. Then Mike No 1 unveils rage like he’s never raged before over horse movies. Who knew a person could lose their marbles over too much horse? Don’t miss some epic MMO ranting & raving over Lean on Pete, of all films. Joaquin Phoenix may create some Oscar buzz with You Were Never Really Here, Andre the Giant will be great, Borg vs McEnroe could produce a LaBouf-assaince, Tully could put Charlize Theron back on Oscar’s radar, and Super Troopers 2 might scare us more than a documentary film about an EXORCISM. Finally, we end with a chronicle of our hopes, dreams, and paranoid fears for Avengers: Infinity War. We react to the trailers, gush over the loaded cast, fear for the lives of our contractually expiring MCU heroes, and hype up a future movie event series bout our affinity for the Infinity War.
