Today's subject just happens to hit close to home. If you read our blog post you can see why. We heard the horrible news of a 76-year-old vet that committed suicide in the parking lot of a VA hospital when he was turned away after seeking help. We here at the Military Mouths podcast are dedicated to reaching out to our brothers and sisters who wore the uniform and we are ashamed that so many systems failed this proud man. We as vets have to help each other as we cannot count on government bureaucracies like the VA to be there when we need them the most. We are proud to have met a group that really lives the motto, "We leave no one behind". Veterans Vanguard is a local group in San Antonio, Texas that have gone above and beyond when it comes to helping our own. As you will see in the interview with Robert, they not only talk the talk, but walk the walk when it comes to Vets helping Vets!
