I had a friendly visit with a civilian friend of mine and an interesting topic came up. Why did I serve. Well I thought this would be a perfect subject to cover as everyone that has worn the uniform probably has their own reason of why they joined. One thing for sure, regardless of why you joined, one has to admit that for the most part, serving brings a unique perspective of life that most civilians will never understand. Bren and I share why we served and what being a Veteran means to us.

We also review the Movie "To Hell and Back" staring Audie Murphy! Please go to our "Hollywood's Military" page for more info and a chance to own a copy of the movie for your collection!
