Show Notes We welcome our listeners to our show called “Mind over Matter”, a health segment focusing on the importance that your mind and thoughts have on your approach, actions, and outcomes in life. We will and be discussing all matters of health and happiness with a top down brain based approach to helping you live a supercharged megawatt life! We ask each other questions around: -What has been one of your defining moments in your life? -What has been the hardest moment/ biggest struggle - When do you feel you perform best? Are there lifestyle tips you feel dramatically affect your abilities to tackle your daily tasks? Top 3 lifestyle tips Dr. Laura's Tops 3 lifestyle tips 1.Spend Time alone to prepare for the day 2.Check in with yourself throughout the day 3.Stay in gratitude throughout the day Ashley's Top 3 lifestyle tips 1. Turn off your mental to do list 2. Remember and practice play 3. Fuel your creative mojo - When do you shine? When do you feel like you are just totally in your element, rocking out, in the flow, feeling in synch with the energy around you. - What brings you joy? - Have you had to deal with negative feedback? How have you responded/ reacted? - Is there a favorite quote or saying that inspires you? One that has carried you through some tough times or one that think about often? - Has life taken the path that you thought it would - What inspires you to get out and just give your all, live life on your terms, get out of bed and make it a great day 'Intention Deck' Every week we are going to pull a random card from our intention deck. Discuss how that topic can help us think differently about the week upcoming and positively impact your life. Today I realise my story is like no one else’s . No one has lived the life I have lived. From that I recognize my gifts and uniqueness Tip of the week: See your life as you want to see it not as it is right now. Our current reality is based on previous thoughts/ beliefs and vision.
