Mary Meeker’s 2015 Internet Trends Report is discussed on this week’s Monday Morning Marketing Podcast with Ilyce Glink and John Byrne.
In her latest annual analysis, venture capitalist Mary Meeker assesses Internet trends in 2015, starting with how much has changed in the last 20 years. Tech trends in 1995 were being made at companies like Netscape and Apple. Since then, Netscape has faltered while Google has taken its place alongside Apple atop the list of global public Internet companies ranked by market capitalization. And there are now more international entries into the tech trends marketplace. In 2014, more than half of the world’s 2.8 billion Internet users were in Asia. So new content marketing tech trends are coming into play.
What does this mean for your content marketing strategy? And how will current tech trends change from here forward? According to Mary Meeker, Internet trends will continue to evolve and penetrate new sectors of the economy in the future. Listen in as Ilyce and John review some of the new Internet trends highlighted in Mary Meeker’s report and share some prognostications for journalism, content marketing and advertising, on this edition of the Monday Morning Marketing Podcast.
