In this episode we host a thrilling interview with former West Morris Central QB Tyler Berntsen (class of '09). He talks about his amazing career that started as a peewee player for the Long Valley Raiders, through the Wolfpack program and on to a five year successful college career.

Berntsen talks about his amazing senior high school season in 2008 in which his Wolfpack came one game away from playing for a championship and how that season set the table for multiple state titles afterward. He discusses how his team came together after losing junior runningback and current NFL fullback Michael Burton to injury to beat Livingston in a barn burner of a game in OT.

After high school, Berntsen went on to college and was moved to tight end. However, he was not ready to give up the reigns at quarterback so he decided to follow his heart and transfer to a school where he could do so. Four years of playing QB and a Master Degree later, he knew he made the right choice.

A few years after hanging up the cleats, he got a call from his former high school coach Kevin Hennelly to help coach his team. So Berntsen's football career has taken him to where it all began and now he's able to give back to the game that treated him so well.
